Music: Jamaica's the home of reggae. Each year, the world's premier reggae festival, the Reggae SumFest, is held in Montego Bay and brings the hottest reggae and dancehall artist from all over the world to the island. SumFest 2010 will be held July 18-24, 2010.
Food & Drink: Visitors would be remiss if they didn't try Jerk, the unofficial national dish. This spicy, yet savory, meat is cooked up with hot pepper spices and will leave you reaching for a Red Stripe, the local beer. Jamaican rum is also found throughout the island.
Industy: Jamaica exports some of the best coffee in the world. Grown high in the Blue Mountains, only a third of these hand-picked coffee beans, made from "cherry berrys," is sold under the coveted Blue Mountain label.
